Today, we are excited to announce the addition of Shern “Shernfire” Tai to our League of Legends roster as an alternate jungler.
Gone by many aliases, most famously “sans pareil”, Shernfire has been living in Korea for the past year honing his skills, achieving a peak of rank 4 in Korean solo queue. During his time with us on our bootcamp, Shernfire spent a lot of time acquainting himself with the team members and found there was great chemistry.
The team will now work as a 6 man roster with Sybol and Shernfire alternating throughout the OPL 2017 season; the players feel having this diversity will bring positive results to our performance and assist in the team’s growth.
In light of Shern‘s competitive ruling, we at LG Dire Wolves in no way endorse account sharing or boosting. When signing Shernfire to our roster, we worked with Riot and were as transparent as possible in the process to ensure Shern would be playing his first OPL match on a clean slate after serving his two match punishment.
Shern “Shernfire” Tai commented: “After hearing about LG Dire Wolves’ 2017 roster I saw the team has a lot of potential and with my experience I can influence and take them to another level. I feel with the dedication to my craft combined with my work ethic, we will achieve the best results OCE has ever seen. In saying this, I will never sleep on a win and continue to evolve. Sans pareil is coming…”
Lachlan “Sybol” Civil commented: “Shern is a good friend and an extremely valuable teammate who I’m very excited to learn and grow alongside with. We will make worlds together.“
