Cupcake Retires

It is with a heavy heart we announce the retirement of Andrew ‘Cupcake‘ Van der Vyver from competitive League of Legends.

Andy has been a massive part of our success this season with a historic undefeated year and winning both OPL Splits. From everyone at the Wolfpack, we wish him all the best as he heads into the next chapter of his life.

Andy has been an absolute pleasure to work with, I have never met a player with such a unique and consistent personal philosophy towards performance. His ability to impose his will on the game and on the enemy was something special to watch every single time. I know whatever path he chooses to go down he will be a master of his craft.” – Coach Curtis ‘Sharp‘ Morgan

I’ve learnt so much from my time on Dire Wolves this year and I’ll be using the experiences I’ve gained to help me succeed in my future endeavors.” Andrew ‘Cupcake‘ Van der Vyver
