SMITE Roster Update

Tue 14th Feb 2017 - 9:30am : Smite

Heading into the fourth competitive season of Smite, LG Dire Wolves will be undergoing a few changes to the SWC roster.

In most recent news former coach, Kurtis “Biggy” Davidson has been released from the club, moving on to EU powerhouse, Team Dignitas. We would like to thank Kurtis for his time with the club and wish him the best of luck with his new team.

In the hunter position, Maxen “Maxen” Williams will be stepping down from the main roster to focus on his final year of high school, moving to a substitute position. In his replacement, we would like to welcome Mingyu “MingyuSeo” Seo (previously known as “hs247”) to the Wolfpack!

Team captain, Nicholas “RichardCastle” Gallaugher commented: “Firstly, I’d like to give a huge thank you to Biggy and Maxen for all their hard work and dedication throughout our successful season 3. It’s always difficult to replace team-mates of such a high caliber, but we are very fortunate to welcome arguably the best ADC in the Oceanic region. Mingyu is someone who I’ve always had a lot of respect for, and looking at the quality of the other ADC’s in the league I expect him to have a very successful year. Our goal for season 4 is to dominate the oceanic region, and continue to gain experience and in-turn results on the international stage.

Mingyu “MingyuSeo” Seo commented: “I'm honoured to have the opportunity to join a team of such talented individuals. I look forward to working alongside them to make the Oceanic region a serious force to be reckoned with on the international stage.

As a result of this announcement, the 2017 roster is as follows:

Alex "kikiomeo" Gallaugher | Solo
Daniel "Rowe" Rowe | Jungle
Jesse "Ochita" Cullen | Mid
Mingyu “MingyuSeo” Seo | ADC
Nicholas "RichardCastle" Gallaugher | Support
Maxen “Maxen” Williams | Sub
