Today, LG Dire Wolves announce the coach position of the 2017 OPL lineup will be filled by Curtis “Sharp” Morgan.

Curtis is no stranger to the club as a founding member of the original 2014 Dire Wolves squad and had been the longest standing member before finishing his playing career in May 2016 to pursue other opportunities.

Curtis now reunites with the Wolfpack as head coach heading into the 2017 OPL season. Having previously worked with 4 out of the 6 members on the roster including, k1ng, Shernfire, Phantiks and Sybol; Curtis is looking to bring his game knowledge to lead the team to a successful season.

Curtis “Sharp” Morgan commented: “After hearing about Riot's investment into OPL this season, I felt I now had the opportunity to commit full time to the competition. It would have been a shame not to take this fantastic opportunity to be the head coach of LG Dire Wolves. Knowing that I will be working with such a star studded roster gives me confidence that the team can make a serious statement under my guidance. In saying that, I am beyond excited to grow with the team as we strive to dominate the competition.
